Endovenous Microwave Ablation of Lower Extremity Veins Workshop

Hosted by the Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine and co-organized by Zhejiang Danhui Co-creation Medical Technology Co., Ltd., the Endovenous Microwave Ablation of Lower Extremity Veins Workshop has concluded successfully after two days of discussion and learning!

This workshop focused on endovenous microwave ablation of lower extremity veins.

Compared with other microwave endovenous closure ablation techniques, Danhui’s microwave ablation offers minimally invasive solutions for both diseased great saphenous vein trunks and perforator veins. Compared to traditional surgery, it features lower postoperative recurrence rates, faster patient recovery, and advantages such as minimal invasiveness, aesthetic outcomes, ease of operation, safety and efficacy, and fewer complications — making it increasingly recognized by a large number of patients.

The workshop proudly invited Professor Yang Jin, Professor Hu Guohua, Professor Shen Haigang, Professor Peng Xiaohui, and others. They delivered wonderful lectures and demonstrated endovenous microwave ablation for varicose veins, helping attendees gain clinical diagnosis experience and practical operation skills.

During the workshop, Professor Yang Jin, Professor Hu Guohua, Professor Shen Haigang, Professor Peng Xiaohui, etc., shared insights on topics including the advantages of endovenous microwave ablation closure for lower extremity veins; prevention and management of thermal ablation complications in lower extremity varicose veins; management models for ambulatory surgery centers; and promotion plans for minimally invasive varicose vein surgery in primary hospitals — providing attendees with valuable experience. On-site surgical demonstrations, case discussions, and expert interactions enhanced surgical operation capabilities and broadened the surgical perspective.
