On May 16, 2025, the "Endovenous Microwave Ablation Closure of Lower Extremity Veins Workshop" was successfully held in Shaoxing — at the Yuecheng Campus of Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital. Bringing together experts from across the province and beyond, this workshop featured in-depth exchanges and discussions focused on the minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of lower extremity varicose veins.

Vice President Jiang Jinsong
Vice President Jiang Jinsong attended the conference in person. During the interactive session, he carefully addressed participants' questions related to clinical practice, using his rich experience and professional insights to clarify confusion and outline clear directions for attendees. In the academic guidance segment, he focused on the cutting-edge field of "endovenous microwave ablation closure of lower extremity veins," delivering a systematic, forward-looking in-depth analysis—covering technical operation key points, clinical thinking framework, standardized operation protocols, and the future development trajectory of the discipline.
With both practical guidance value and profound academic thought, Vice President Jiang provided precise solutions to participants' current clinical challenges, inspiring in-depth reflection on academic research. He served as the core driver of this conference, uniting professional consensus, fostering innovative talent, and propelling the field of minimally invasive lower extremity vein treatment toward higher-quality development, injecting robust momentum into disciplinary progress.
Professor Lu Weiqin
Professor Lu Weiqin analyzed the "Current Status and Prospects of Minimally Invasive Treatment for Lower Extremity Varicose Veins," outlining the development blueprint for the field.

Professor Lu Kaiping
Professor Lu Kaiping conducted a comparative review of "Efficacy and Safety of Endovenous Microwave vs. Radio frequency Closure for the Great Saphenous Vein Trunk", leveraging data to enhance precise understanding of the topic.

Professor Wu Hao
Professor Wu Hao focused on "Application of Ultrasound Technology in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Lower Extremity Varicose Veins" and "Preoperative Patient Selection and Vascular Assessment", emphasizing key points for technical practice.

Professor Chen Lei
Professor Chen Lei provided a detailed explanation of "Standard Operating Procedure for Lower Extremity Vein Microwave Treatment" and "Techniques for Managing the Small Saphenous Vein and Perforator Veins", focusing directly on the core of practical operations.

Professor Weng Chao
Professor Weng Chao elaborated on "Standardized Management of Ambulatory Surgery" to optimize clinical management models.

Nursing Expert Shen Dan
A highlight of this workshop was the newly added course "Perioperative Nursing for Minimally Invasive Surgery of Lower Extremity Varicose Veins", which provided an in-depth exploration of key perioperative nursing points.

Participants were divided into groups for operating room observation and hands-on training, and participated in the "Danhui Microwave Ablation Product Operation + Ultrasound-Guided Vascular Puncture Simulation Training". Professors including Lu Kaiping, Wu Hao, and Chen Lei provided on-site guidance, enabling deep integration of theory and practice.

This workshop, structured as "surgical observation + lectures + simulation training," established a high-quality academic exchange platform. The professors shared their full expertise, covering the entire chain of theory, operation, and management. Participants engaged actively and gained substantial insights. The event not only promoted the dissemination of minimally invasive treatment techniques for lower extremity varicose veins but also provided solutions to clinical challenges, helping elevate medical standards in the relevant field. We look forward to more such academic gatherings in the future, which will drive continuous progress in medical technology and deliver better diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients!
