The patient had long suffered from lower extremity varicose veins, experiencing leg pain after prolonged standing, and traditional treatments had yielded poor results. Recently, upon learning that the expert team led by Director Zhang Zhanchao from Zhengzhou 460 Hospital was conducting medical assistance activities at Artux People's Hospital, the patient came to the hospital with high hopes to seek professional treatment.Led by Director Zhang Zhanchao, the hospital's ultrasound team conducted an in-depth analysis of the patient's condition, confirming clear surgical indications and no contraindications to surgery. A personalized surgical treatment plan was tailored for the patient. During the operation, a disposable microwave ablation catheter (co-developed by Danhui) was used to perform minimally invasive great saphenous vein varicose vein ablation + sclerotherapy, helping the patient relieve their suffering.

Director Zhang Zhanchao is the Chief of the Ultrasound Department at Zhengzhou 460 Hospital and an Associate Chief Physician (formerly of the 988 Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force). He also serves as an Honorary Expert at Artux People's Hospital in Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang. His areas of expertise include various gastrointestinal ultrasound procedures, interventional surgical treatments, and sclerotherapy for lower extremity varicose veins.
